I am Shin Young-soo, CEO of CJ Logistics.

In today's corporate business environment, demands for climate change response and environmental and social responsibility continue to expand, with ESG disclosure and regulatory frameworks increasingly becoming more concrete. These changes are setting new standards across corporate management, and the importance of ESG management for sustainable growth has increased further.

CJ Logistics is aligning with this trend by positioning ESG management as a core strategy for enhancing corporate value on a mid- to long-term basis and strengthening execution capabilities through the ESG Committee and dedicated organization. The Company also advances management systems continuously across domestic and overseas business operations, establishing an ESG management foundation in preparation for the future expansion of consolidated disclosure standards.

The following are our key ESG milestones in 2025:

First, CJ Logistics is setting new standards for eco-friendly logistics based on technology-driven innovation.

Under the "Carbon Neutrality by 2050" goal, CJ Logistics has progressively expanded energy efficiency and eco-friendly logistics systems. In particular, the Company has established a waste recovery and recycling system and contributed to creating a circular logistics ecosystem through resource circulation activities utilizing logistics infrastructure. CJ Logistics received a commendation from the Minister of Environment in 2025 in recognition of these efforts, demonstrating its related capabilities.

In addition, the Construction Business Unit acquired environmental technology certification in wastewater treatment, improving water treatment efficiency and simultaneously securing energy savings; thus upgrading the level of eco-friendly technology.

Second, CJ Logistics is establishing a win-win ecosystem where stakeholders grow together based on safety and fairness.

CJ Logistics prioritizes the safety of employees and partners based on industry-leading safety management systems, having continuously advanced human rights protection and safety management frameworks. Furthermore, the Company has expanded employment and social participation opportunities for disabled individuals by establishing a sports team for persons with disabilities, and contributed to building a foundation for self-reliance through sports activities while achieving excellent results in domestic and international competitions and creating social value. CJ Logistics also operates excellent partner award programs and regular meetings to establish fair and transparent cooperative relationships with partners, and promotes shared growth with various stakeholders by implementing win-win financing programs for truck owners to ease vehicle replacement burdens.

Third, CJ Logistics is expanding future growth areas centered on eco-friendly energy and pursuing sustainable growth.

CJ Logistics has positioned the eco-friendly energy sector as a core future growth pillar, and it is expanding new business areas such as battery logistics and recycling based on its global logistics infrastructure. In the hydrogen mobility sector in particular, the Company is acquiring operational data through hydrogen electric tractor demonstration projects on actual logistics routes, verifying operational stability and economic feasibility, and establishing a foundation for commercialization. Through these efforts, CJ Logistics plans to participate in building a hydrogen mobility ecosystem and accelerate the transition to eco-friendly logistics.
